Nechama and Eli’s Historic Miami Wedding

The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami was the magnificent backdrop for Nechama and Eli’s March 2019 wedding. Their European-inspired wedding on the 20th-century estate felt like a step back in time. The sprawling 50-acre property that features Mediterranean Revival Architecture with Baroque elements, surrounded by lush Italian and French-style gardens, was a dream come true for the couple’s spring destination wedding.

The bride wore a timeless Karen Sabag custom gown, a Chantilly hand-beaded lace dress with a 15-foot long detachable train made from crinoline fabric, and French netting with a Chantelle finished hem. The photo of Nechama taken by Domino Arts perfectly captured each precious moment of the lavish affair. One of the breathtaking photos was of Nechama on the top of the stairs in her gown as her sweeping train draped so beautifully on the steps it made her look like royalty. To capture the romantic mood, Nechama’s makeup and hair was swept up in a sophisticated bun with braided detail created by Tatjana Terzic. And, her intricate tiara and headpiece that complemented her regal look were done by Bridal Styles Boutique.

After the “I Do’s,” the couple celebrated with all 500 of their guests. The bride wore a two tone ostrich feathered dress with flower beaded appliqué on the corset that

captured her every move on the dance floor. Petal Productions created exquisite floral displays and hanging greenery for the reception, bringing the outdoors in, which complemented the gilded tables and decorative touches of the timeless affair. The wedding was unforgettable and Nechama was so elated she said that Karen Sabag, created the “dress of her dreams.”

“From the moment I walked into Karen’s boutique, I knew I was in the best of hand. Karen took the time and patience to understand exactly what I was looking for and has such incredible talent, passion, and knowledge. I felt prettier than Cinderella! Such a pleasant experience. Karen is the best of the best. I can’t wait for the next event.”
